The International Advanced Technology Program is a four-year international undergraduate program, launched by the College of Engineering of Taiwan Tech in 2017. All the courses in this program are taught in English, and students will have the chance of specialize in one of the four fields, i.e. “Mechanical Engineering”, “Chemical Engineering”, “Materials Science and Engineering” and “Civil and Construction Engineering”. In the freshman year, all students have to take fundamental courses to build a sound basis of engineering knowledge. In the sophomore and junior year, students will choose one of the four tracks, and will take courses offered in their specializations. In their senior year, students will focus on an internship with Taiwanese companies which will pave their way for their future careers or do research projects under the guidance of their professors on campus. Students will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S) by the College of Engineering of Taiwan Tech upon successful completion of the program.
Currently, the International Advanced Technology Program enrolls students from 17 countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Paraguay, Belize, Myanmar, Marshall Islands, Russia, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mexico, Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, and Poland.
